Monty Hancock is an English pianist and composer who lives between Chichester and Bangkok. He records felt piano, close-mic’d and played quietly enough that the mechanism becomes part of the music, and releases it with Platoon. His recordings have passed seven million streams, and he has been a fixture of Piano Chill, Apple Music’s flagship piano playlist, since September 2025.
